Dakota Dental Offers Patients Extended Sedation Dentistry Options

April 28, 2014Dakota DentalPress Release

Dakota Dental, a premier Apple Valley dental clinic, offers comprehensive, expert sedation dentistry options through continued education by Dr. Bennett Isabella

For a segment of Minnesota’s population, visits to the family dentist often cause debilitating anxiety. Whether this anxiety is caused by previous bad experiences or by a deep fear of needles and shots, it is very real for many children and adults.

Recognizing that this apprehension may prevent people of all ages from seeking and receiving dental services such as cleanings, tooth fillings, and dental emergency services, Dakota Dental offers compassionate, distinctive dentistry.

For Dakota Dental, an Apple Valley dentistry office, distinctive dentistry services include sedation dentistry options. Sedation dentistry simply involves the administration of medications to help patients relax and to help manage their pain. At Dakota Dental, that medication is administered carefully and directly by the practice’s own Dr. Bennett Isabella.

Dr. Isabella is one of fewer than 10 general dentists in Minnesota who provides his own IV sedation. To maintain current best practices and offer patients the ideal services for their individual needs, Dr. Isabella is committed to pursuing continuing education opportunities. In fact, he completed additional sedation dentistry training at a conference in February.

In addition to broadening his own knowledge and the sedation dentistry options at Dakota Dental through continuing education, Dr. Isabella is a lecturer for a dental implant company, going around the region to instruct other dentists on implant options and procedural techniques. Further, he has a traveling practice providing sedation dentistry and dental implant surgery for other dental offices. His expertise and both breadth and depth of knowledge allow Dakota Dental to offer comprehensive services to its patients.

The dental care services team at Dakota Dental invites new patients throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and southern suburbs to experience a different kind of dentistry at its Apple Valley Dental Clinic. Visit www.DakotaDental.com or call 952-431-5774 to ask a question or request an appointment. Dakota Dental is located at 14682 Pennock Avenue in Apple Valley, Minnesota.
